Not getting clear on what you actually want in your career is the reason job search isn’t working !

Let’s dig in ~  if you’re still obsessing over every word on your resume, endlessly tweaking your LinkedIn profile, or rewriting your cover letter for the 100th time but you still don’t know what the f*ck you actually want in your career, it doesn’t matter what’s on your resume or how your LinkedIn profile is finessed. Not knowing what the f*ck you really want in your career ~  that’s the real problem.

Here’s the truth that most won’t tell you:

Your resume isn’t the reason you’re stuck, overlooked, overwhelmed + frustrated with your career search. Your lack of clarity is!

Until you get clear on what you truly want ~ what drives you, motivates you, + flipping excites you ~ you’ll keep applying for jobs that “look good on paper” but feel like quicksand once you land them

I don’t expect you to know what clarity is or how the lack of clarity is slowing you down. The fact remains that we are not taught how to properly identify what we want when it comes to our career goals + we aren’t even taught how to write our resumes + cover letters properly ~ until now!

I’m here to help you gain clarity, which leads to confidence in yourself + your abilities + THEN crush your resume, cover letter, LinkedIn profile, the job search, the interview + the offer!

Yep, that’s what gaining clarity leads to!

One of the reasons, aside from not being taught to prioritize clarity is that you don’t always know it’s a clarity issue + that’s because it wears different disguises.

Do any of the following sound familiar?

  • You're applying to roles that sound good, pay well, + have a shiny title ~ but something in your gut says “meh.”

  • You’re rewriting your resume again… but can’t seem to land interviews. You’re trying to sound impressive, but it doesn’t feel like you.

  • You’re avoiding making decisions, not because you’re lazy or unmotivated, but because you’re secretly terrified of ending up in another job that drains the life out of you.

WHAT LACK OF CLARITY REALLY LOOKS LIKE;

This is how lack of clarity shows up. It’s sneaky. It’s discouraging +  worst of all—it keeps you playing small.

You are not alone ~ thousands of other career seekers are following the same path + feeling the same way. But not you, you are here + by reading this, you know it’s time to stop playing small + figure this out, once + for all.

YES, 1000% + it’s a requirement for every career search, at every stage of your career, whether you are starting out or are running a company ~ even if you’re a business owner, you need a resume, so it’s ALWAYS going to be important. But it’s not step one.

Let’s call it what it is: a tool.

Same with your cover letter.

Same with your LinkedIn profile.

They are the delivery vehicles ~ but they don’t define the direction.

Without clarity, these documents become a guessing game.

You end up writing to please a hiring manager instead of presenting your real value.

💥 Your resume should highlight your skills, abilities + experience. The ones YOU KNOW are why you deserve seats at better tables with bigger paycheques.

💥 Your cover letter enhances the story that your resumes tells + how you will add value + create impact to an organization that hires you.

💥 Your LinkedIn should be the tool that has recruiters, hiring managers + potential employers chasing after you. Trust me when I say, as a recruiter I WANT TO FIND YOU.

You can’t do any of that without knowing what you want first.

BUT JEN, ISN’T MY RESUME STILL IMPORTANT

HERE’S THE MINDSET SHIFT YOU NEED;

✔️ When you’re clear, your confidence skyrockets.
✔️ When you’re confident, you show up differently.
✔️ + when you show up differently, employers notice.

You will write a resume that says, “Here’s why you need me.”

You walk into interviews with confidence, energy + an undeniable presence.

You stop chasing “job security” + start building career alignment.

That’s the difference between getting a job… + getting the right job.

SO HOW DO YOU GET CAREER CLARITY?

If you’ve been feeling stuck, spinning your wheels, or second-guessing every move—it’s not because you’re broken or behind.

It’s because you’re doing it backwards. (until now!)

I promise, when you get clear ~ really clear ~ everything shifts.

✔️ You stop settling.
✔️ You start standing out.
✔️ + you finally create a career that feels like it was made for you.

You don’t need to submit more job applications.

You need better career alignment.

It starts with getting clear on what you want + we are starting today

You don’t find it in job descriptions.

You don’t find it on LinkedIn.

  • you definitely don’t find it by scrolling Indeed at midnight.

If you are doing this, please stop right now!

Clarity comes from reflection.

From honest questions.

From peeling back the layers of what you think you “should” do + uncovering what you actually want.

Here are 3 questions to start with:

  1. What do I want to be known for?

  2. What kind of work energizes me vs. drains me?

  3. If there were no risks involved, what bold move would I make?

(Yes,pause + actually write them down. Don’t just scroll past this.)

+ LET’S NOT IGNORE THE MONEY TALK

This is where a lot of people get tripped up. Somewhere along the way, we were told a BS story that we have to choose between doing meaningful work or making a solid income.

    Nope. Not today.

You do not have to sacrifice financial security to do work you love.

Work you love, at least 80% of the time comes from knowing:

    • What roles value your skills + align with your purpose.

    • Where your work can matter + be profitable.

    • When a ‘stepping stone’ job is smart ~ because it helps you build momentum, financial stability, + confidence while you figure out your next step.

    CLARITY=YOUR CAREER’S NEW SUPER POWER!
